Hi all,
I have issued a PR [1] which bumps the core parser and schema to 7.1,
since we're going to introduce schema changes there.
Do you think we should bump all schemas in sync (including the
cachestores) or shall we only do it when there are changes ?

The changes are additive, so we're only modifying the minor version of
the schema and we will parse old versions.
Not that the schema-less mess that are HS's properties is any better :)

+1 for backwards compatibility.. always.
Remember the average user isn't going to exercise his
configuration-editing skills every morning, people want to copy-paste
a configuration they've seen working on their previous project, which
started some ~6 months ago.
Not that the schema-less mess that are HS's properties is any
better :)
People love schema-less.. always backwards compatible!
