Making more properties writeable?

Hi,
just looked at the configuration side of the API again and most of the attibutes in there are read-only.
So I can not e.g. change the max post size for the http connector (*) via API - other than dropping the http
connector completely and re-creating it, which is nothing people will do (especially when there is no
":clone" operation that fills in the existing properties when not passed explicitly).
People will in this case just start hacking on standalone.xml and other files, which completely
renders the api void. Do we really want that?

Moving through the Filesystem with CLI

Hello!
does anyone know if it's possible to navigate through the Filesystem
when using the CLI ? that would be very useful for deployments.(If I
understand correclty the 'cd' command moves through the tree of AS
resources...)

New openshift resource issue

One problem people are running into in testing as7 openshift express
cartridge is running out of threads. I need a configuration that has all
of the subsystem thread pools/usage explicitly declared so that one
knows that the upper bound on the thread is. The reason for this is that
the server runs in a constrained environment that has an upper limit on
the number of process(maps to native threads) the server can create.
Right now there are no subsystems referring to a thread pool in the
threads subsystem.
At a minimum, there needs to be a sample standalone.xml configuration
that is tested that illustrates how to do this if we are not going to do
this by default.

JNDI Bindings

Can somebody enlighten me?
What JNDI namespaces are allowed for explicit JNDI bindings (i.e datasources, resource adapters)
Looking at the docs it seems that you could either chose 'java:global/<xyz>' or 'java:jboss/<xyz>'.
Whereas the 'java:module' and java:app' namespaces seem to be reserved implicit bindings.
Is that correct?

Getting started application development guide - a suggestion

Hi Pete,
Based on my consulting experience, I have found that there are still
many places where development environments are non maven based i.e
Eclipse minus minus m2eclipse etc. Do you think it will be worthwhile,
having instructions in the guide for building/deploying these
applications using WTP tools + JBoss Tools?

Problems running liferay portal in jboss7

In the company I work for we are running liferay (4.3.5, 5.2 and 6.0.5) on
jboss eap 4.3
I tried running a vanilla liferay on jboss 7 and failed.
