I was wondering, if we still support this feature; we used to have it in
AS5.x i.e one could package the datasource definition with .ear, .war etc.

Wasn't there a discussion that we'll have some non-managed behavior for this?
At least that's what I could gather from Emanuel' Tuesday JUDCon talk. Emanuel?

Emmanuel/Jason said it was being worked on/considered that you could have an external
datasource deployed (not embedded in another deployment) - but I don't know jira nor
progress.
Would be very interested to know status since otherwise AS7 continues to be annoying to
configure/setup for basic web/war development.
