Jeff Zhang commented on JBAS-5715:
----------------------------------
try to add @XmlJavaTypeAdapter(CollapsedStringAdapter.class)
/** The jndiName */
@XmlElement(name="jndi-name")
@XmlJavaTypeAdapter(CollapsedStringAdapter.class)
private String jndiName;
after adding annotation, they are all successful.
1. <jndi-name>DefaultDS1</jndi-name>
2. <jndi-name>DefaultDS1
</jndi-name>
3. <jndi-name>
DefaultDS1
</jndi-name>
I will go through those String elements
-ds.xml not trimming whitespace in jboss5

Affects Versions: JBossAS-5.0.0.CR1
Reporter: Adrian Brock
Assigned To: Jeff Zhang

Here's an example where it is being used:
org.jboss.resource.metadata.mcf.ManagedConnectionFactoryDeploymentMetaData
/** The connectionDefinition */
@XmlElement(name="connection-definition")
@XmlJavaTypeAdapter(CollapsedStringAdapter.class) // HERE!
protected String connectionDefinition;
But this should be on every String.
