The trick is to use a filefilter. Howto: Create the method SolutionBusiness.acceptImportFile() which delegates to AbstractSolutionImporter.acceptInputFile(). Next, in SolverAndPersistenceFrame.ImportAction.actionPerformed(...) set a FileFilter and make it use SolutionBusiness.acceptImportFile().
