Hi All,
I'd obviously like to see CXF JAX-RS working well with JBoss and specifically JBoss
making it easier for other JAX-RS implementations (not necessarily CXF) be optionally used
instead if users prefer to do so.
However I doubt requesting a replacement of RestEasy is the right way to achieve it.
RestEasy is the top framework which has its community and influenced the way JAX-RS 2.0
has been done. It also has the features which CXF does not.

Since Apache CXF provides a very good support for jax-rs and it is the mechanism for
providing jax-ws in AS7, it does make sense to adopt it also for jax-rs services (it would
be a more homogeneous solution), at least giving the chance to choose between the resteasy
and cxf implementation through a configuration option.
