Brian Stansberry updated JBAS-5959:
-----------------------------------
Attachment: fieldleak1.html
Attached a JBoss Profiler analysis showing the reference chains that lead to the leaked
CL. All chains are either circular, lead to WeakReferences, or lead to items that are
circular/lead to weak references. Note the absence of color highlighting in the report;
any chains not meeting the criteria above would be in bold, terminating in an item in
red.
Intermittent failure in FieldGranularityClassloaderLeakUnitTestCase
-------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: JBAS-5959
URL:
https://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/JBAS-5959
Project: JBoss Application Server
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Components: AOP, Clustering, Web (Tomcat) service
Affects Versions: JBossAS-5.0.0.CR1
Reporter: Brian Stansberry
Assignee: Brian Stansberry
Fix For: JBossAS-5.0.0.GA
Attachments: fieldleak1.html
The FieldGranularityClassloaderLeakUnitTestCase intemittently fails (once every 5-10
hudson runs). Heap analysis (using JBoss Profiler or hprof+jhat) after a failure always
shows all paths to the leaked CL leading to WeakReferences, so the cause of the leak is
unclear.
