Mike McMahon commented on JBRULES-1216:
---------------------------------------
In what sense is drools-repository.jar a stand alone app??? There is not a static main()
in the whole source tree.
The only way I know to use drools-repository.jar is as a library, and I think the end user
should be in control of logging.
The file drools-repository/src/main/resources/log4j.xml should be removed.
log4j.xml contained in drools-repository.jar

Key: JBRULES-1216
URL:
http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBRULES-1216
Project: JBoss Drools
Issue Type: Bug
Security Level: Public(Everyone can see)
Affects Versions: 4.0.0.GA, 4.0.1
Reporter: mike mcmahon
Assigned To: Michael Neale
Fix For: 5.0.0-M1, 4.0.7
the file drools-repository/src/main/resources/log4j.xml goes into the jar artifact.
this causes problems for end-users who also use log4j since the classloader may choose
either log4j.xml
