Darran Lofthouse commented on AS7-2072:
---------------------------------------
Within the CLI we now support the use of a descriptor to specify the SSL keystore and
truststore settings - in general if someone wants a remote silent authenticated connection
then SSL would probably be the better way to achieve this - alternatively it's use
would be recommended against but a username and password could be added to the same
descriptor and we could also consider vault integration with the CLI.
CLI: include option to specify credentials from file
----------------------------------------------------
Key: AS7-2072
URL:
https://issues.jboss.org/browse/AS7-2072
Project: Application Server 7
Issue Type: Feature Request
Components: CLI
Affects Versions: 7.0.2.Final
Reporter: Radoslav Husar
Assignee: Alexey Loubyansky
Priority: Minor
Labels: eap6-ux
Fix For: Open To Community
More of a wish-list Jira (hence marked as minor priority and open to community) related
to AS7-2036: provide option to specify credentials from file rather than command line, but
both are insecure. Users should look into other ways of authenticating against the
instance.
