Hi there, I implemented a web application using Seam, the major functionalities implemented in Session Bean Stateful. I experienced a major performance issue, when one user do a large upload task, it will block other user login activity. My understanding is JBoss will instance multi-instance of that EJB to handle more request. Please advise. [JBoss Portal] - Jboss Portal 2.6 problems with API login and an URL request

Hello there! I am using the API of 2.6 UserAuthenticationEvent to catch the login event. I need to do a request to a portlet in the login moment, but all my portal are restricted only for an authenticated user, then I tried to do the request (into the onEvent method ) to my portlet using the URL class of java and the URLConnection, and a send the cookie of the session of jboss portal (JSESSIONID). When I send a wrong cookie the request returns me the html of the login page(it is right), but when I send the cookie of the actual user (just logged in) the portal doesn't do anything and I don't receive any response of my request, the portal crash. is there another way to do it, to call to process action method of a portlet from the onEvent method of the API. I started hacking around with the source and I came up with the following solution: Change Identity.isSecurityEnabled(): | public static boolean isSecurityEnabled() | { | return securityEnabled && | Contexts.isSessionContextActive()&& | Identity.instance().isIdentitySecurityEnabled(); | } | Add the following methods to Identity: | private boolean identitySecurityEnabled; | <snip/> | | public boolean isIdentitySecurityEnabled() | { | return identitySecurityEnabled; | } | | public void setIdentitySecurityEnabled(boolean enabled) | { | identitySecurityEnabled = enabled; | } | This solves both my problem mentioned above. If any of the Seam committers think this is a valid solution I can create a JIRA issue and attach the patch. [JBoss AOP] - How to use AOP on existing apps within JBoss AS

Are there steps as to how i can include AOP to my existing app running in the AS. I've looked at the examples and they are heavy on the new applications, precompiled or not and bundled with the *-aop.xml file and deployed as *.aop. I can get the injboss example working, so i think my configuration is ok. I would like to know how i can do the same without having to touch my existing app. I have the EnableLoadtimeWeaving set to true. So does my existing app get aspectized and all i need to do i just need put my *-aop.xml file in the deploy folder along with the jar of my advices/interceptors/etc... I still can't reproduce this.
