[Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - Update Tomcat

Hello forum, I am using JBoss for a larger software application. I have a few problems with the user authentication when I try to connect from a J2ME application to the web service hosted on my JBoss. A colleague supposed that there could be a bug in the Tomcat version my JBoss uses. So I need to know if I can update the Tomcat in my JBoss and how to do that. I hope you can help me. [JBoss Portal] - Re: Portlet for Google Map, problem with Refresh

I was just wondering if that worked for you. I would like to put together a prototype and adding Google maps would be a nice enhancement. What did you do to make it work? Was there anything unique about the code? I'd like to avoid simply putting it in an iframe portlet. Thanks. Hi, I am a j2ee developer and would like to use Jboss portal, I have been using other php staff for a long time but decided to move to JBoss. I hope that I can contribute to JBoss Portal also. Yes, we know about this. The problem is actually that: (1) Ajax4JSF is mucking with the content type, serving it up as XML (2) MyFaces doesn't escape the & it generates Todd Smart and I are trying to work with the Ajax4JSF guys to get this sorted out. I dunno. I must admit I'm not totally happy with the current strategy of JBoss which is to bundle them in with Tomcat. In some ways I would prefer them to be in the EAR. Are you using scoped classloading? It can make a difference. Hello, I want to develop an enterprise application based on portlets and would like to have advice on the feasability. I would like to design it this way (example) : 1 page is for orders management In this page, 1 portlet displays orders list. When the user clicks on an order, it opens : - 1 portlet for order header - 1 portlet for order spreadsheet Do you think such architecture is feasable using jsr168 ? future jsr 286 ?
