[JBoss Portal] - Re: How to show my JSP page in a portlet.

Hi Mariella, Thanks for your immediate response. Let me try to expose my requirement. I am working for an MNC and they have different web application (j2ee) running in different servers. I just want to show these different applications (probably index.jsp) as different portlet in the Portel. Please note I just have the URL of these applications. I have tried to use IFrame portlet for the same, but that doesn?t meet the requirement. now can you please suggest how can I do the same using JBoss portal server. * I would appreciate any response. [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - JBoss/Hibernate and Oracle RAC

Hi, I have a application writen for single instance for Oracle database. This application connects with Oracle via Hibernate. Connection informations are stored in hibernate.cfg.xml file (properties hibernate.connection.driver_class, hibernate.connection.username, hibernate.connection.password, hibernate.connection.url, hibernate.dialect). The application use thin driver, dont't use tnsnames.ora and don't use connection pools and data source from JBoss. Now I have to port this application to work Oracle RAC, with load balancing and TAF. What should I do? Is it possible without code modification? I have the source code but I am not the author. [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - Can any type of file go in the farm dir?

Hi All, I'm moving my application to work in a cluster. At some point one of my servers, server-01 might get an incoming file. It will process the file a little bit and then stores it locally for processing later. Since the second server, server-02 may be the server that gets the task of further processing the local file I wanted to put it in the farm dir so I created a sub dir farm/incoming. Now when I startup the files that I have in farm/incoming are being deployed by the MainDeployer. Does anyone know how I should handle this? This is odd, seems like the workspace node does not exist despite going through the CreateIfNotExists interceptor. Do you have some more logging around this, perhaps set it to TRACE level and get 25 messages before and say 5 messages after this stack trace? You could email this to me if it is too big to post here.
