I found out what my real problem is: A Nullpointerexception is thrown in the inLocalCopyDir method of the MainDeployer. It seems that the tempDirString variable has no value. Can anybody tell me how to assign a value to that variable? A few questions: 1) Is there an error message displayed in IE? If so, what is it? 2) Is there an error message appearing in the console window or the server log file? If so, post the error message along with the stack trace. 3) What JVM are you using? To find out, enter the following at a command prompt and post the results: java -version 4) Why are you using an ancient version of JBoss? And a release candidate at that. That version must be at least 3 or 4 years old. Is there are reason why you could not use the latest version (which is 4.0.4, or if you need 3.2.x, at least use 3.2.7). I did it for all session beans. But you can also have a stack for a specific bean. I don't know where your problem comes from because I have not enough information. Did you deploy your interceptor classes correctly? I have a simple interceptor test on http://www.strace.org/~tterm/jboss-testcase.zip You should comment out the metadata stuff their because it will throw an exception but without it should work fine. Do you have iptables (or some other firewall) running on the linux system? If so, is port 8080 open? Does the Linus system have a monitor, and if so, can you access JBoss from there using http://localhost:8080? Hi, I hae set re-delivery limit as 1, so that if there is any error in processing the message, I can get that on DLQ, which I can use to know what were those error messages. On a second thought, my comment above does not apply to the generate-service task because it runs at the client side. vedavati, can you describe the steps you followed to encounter the exception? Apparently, this problem affects only a reduced number of execution environments, so please mention your operating system, jboss version, ant version and jwsdp version (if any). Gavin, thank you for replying. As I understood, seam is not intended to work in clustered environment? Are you planning to do something about it in the future seam versions? So, currently we can replicate entities only if they are not bound to any seam context, which, in turn, means that these entities become a non-seam components, which means that we are loosing a lot of features provided by seam. Did I get it right? It also would be nice, if you think about providing an ability of replicating seam contexts between different cluster nodes (for some future Seam releases). At least session context should somehow be replicated. For example, currently, I don't have an idea how to implement the Single Sign On feature using Seam in clustered environment. I think, that using statefull session beans will not solve all clustering issues. Clustering support should somehow be transparent to Seam users. I mean, it should be configurable on Seam level. Perhaps using additional Seam annotations or xml.. it doesn't matter. I'm new to Seam, but it is clear from the first sight, that this framework is quite powerfull and developers get a lot of benefits from using it. Currently, a lot of applications are deployed in clustered environment, so, I guess, it's quite critical to do something with seam about clustering. [JBossWS] - Porting of Webservice from JBoss-3.2.4 to JBoss-4.0.3

Hello , I am porting my application from the older version of JBoss -3.2.4 and to the newer version of the JBoss-4.0.3. I have deployed the ear file in which i have all the web services and they are deployed as wsr files. But when i went thru some jboss forum i found that we don't have jboss-net in the current JBoss-4.0.3 version. So can some one please tell me how should i proceed for the deployment of these webservices.
