[JBoss Seam] - Re: Problem with ResourceBundle using Seam

I tried putting the file in WEB_INF/classes so now the hierarchy looks like this: WEB_INF/classes/af_delegate.properties but it is still not working. Should I add something to build.xml file? As per the documentation, the jndi name mentioned in the jboss.xml will override the one mentioned using annotation. Are you able to lookup the bean using both of these jndi names? [Beginners Corner] - Newbie Need Help :)

Hi there, Im new to JBOSS. Ive been setting up JBOSS for 3 days with mySQL... The JBOSS came from Netbeans 5.5 Beta 2 Bundle with JBOSS-4.0.4.GA I followed the instructions on http://ltiwww.epfl.ch/Eclipse/LoadingJBoss.html. To connect to mySQL . I just successfully run it yesterday. But this morning when I started JBOSS it shows an error: java.lang.exception: Port 8083 is already in use. java.rmi.server.ExportException: Port already in use: 1098; nested exception is: java.net.BindException: Address already in use: JVM Bind When I netstat I cannot see 8083 or 1098 is being used...How can I view the processes that are using this port when I cant see them on Netstat? I found some forums regarding with this error. Some suggest on locating HOME\jboss-4.0.4.GA\server\default\conf\jboss-service.xml and edit the port number there. I've searched the tags anf the RMI tags but I cant find them. I havent change anything since this the deafault file that came with the Bundle. I've added the tags to jboss-service.xml manualy but to no avail.. Is there someone there who experienced this error? A link where could I find solution? [Tomcat, HTTPD, Servlets & JSP] - Tomcat 5.5.17 Cookie Parsing Bug

I have run into a strage cookie processing bug with tomcat 5.5.17 bundled with JBoss-4.0.4.GA. Basically, if the cookie is in xml format and is set on the browser, the cookie is set just fine with double quotes properly esacped etc. But, when this cookie is sent back to the server, the cookie value gets mangled. I have noticed the mangling starts at the first occurrence of the escaped '\'. My platform information is: JBoss AS = 4.0.4.GA Tomcat = bundled version 5.5.17 OS = Windows XP btw- Everything works fine in the earlier version of tomcat bundled with AS 4.0.3SP1. jboss tomcat performance tweaking

Hi, I am looking for an article that depicts Jboss/Tomcat/mod_jk performance tweaking. Right now I am having problems with mod_jk and I couldn't able to solve it. Mod_jk stops forwarding new pages to jboss while I can perfectl connect to jboss (:8080). Can someone give me an URL that I can read ? I have searched internet but couldn't able to find one.. Output of top is %CPU for java 99.9 java 82.6 java 99.9 java 99.9 39.3 java -- 2 processes 0.1 java 76.3 java 49.5 java 21.8 java 66.5 1.9 0.9 java ---3 processes 99.9 6.1 java -- 2 processes 40.8 25.6 java -- 2 processes --- deploying selenium.war and slowly getting down m/c My java version is - ============== Java(TM) 2 Runtime Environment, Std Edition(build 1.4.2_07- b05) Java Hotspot(TM) client VM(build 1.4.2_07-b05, mixed mode) In server.log and consolelog I don't find anything abnormal I am deploying J2EE application with .ear file Pl help me in this regard as I am totally new to java/jboss and trying to learn this.
