[Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - how to set uploadRepositoryPath relative to jboss working di

I searched the forum but didn't find it discussed anywhere. In my web.xml file, I configed an extensionFilter to limit the uploadThresholdSize to 100 KB, but I don't know how to set the uploadRepositoryPath relative to jboss working directory. The default value is "/temp" which doesn't exist in most linux or windows systems if you don't create it manually. Because these file chunks will not and should not be persisted from jboss restart. so I cannot think of a reason to preserve them. can anybody shine any lites? thank you. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Problems using JAAS with EJB 3.0 on JBoss 4.0.4-GA

Hello all, I am trying to build a very simple JavaEE application with JAAS, but I getting mad. I have an EAR packed with a WAR module an EJB JAR module and a JAR with other classes. Struts is the MVC framework and EJB 3.0 is been used. If not, the login page shows up. Now I wanna to be able to also protect my EJBs. My Stateless Session Bean is implemented as follow: @RolesAllowed("yyy") | @Stateless(name="UserManagement") | public class UserManagementBean implements UserManagement { | public void add(User user) { | //... | } | } When I run all this, the container simply igoners the @RolesAllowed("yyy") annotation and allow the EJB execution. Am I missing something? What do I have to do to get JAAS working fine with my EJBs? Do I have to also configure and/or provide "ejb-jar.xml" ??? You're using facelets? There is a difference (I can't remember what it is off the top of my head, browse the list archive) between what is rendered using #{bean.proprety} and <h:outputText value="#{bean.property}" /> (for which you have the optional escape attribute). [JBossWS] - WSDL->Java: How do you generate code for *all* types - even

I'm using wstools in AS4.0.4 to generate client-side java from a WSDL file. From the looks of it, only types referenced directly by the SOAP operations are generated - but other types (e.g. derived-types) are not. Axis wsdl2java provides a flag to aggressively search through a schema for all types (incl. imported schemas) and generate the code. Is this available in wstools? When facelets is used as the viewhandler it uses a suffix for source files and for rendered files. Normally .xhtml is used for source files; there is no convention for rendered files - .seam, .jsf, .faces are common. There is a 1:1 correspondance between the rest of the file name (the view-id) : xxxx.xhtml -> xxxx.seam. The pblm may be your jboss is not able to find the driver for loading the database driver. Put the jar file in in common/lib directory. While addressing this issue i have 1 clarification. When I shutdown the Jboss server using ctrl+C , it says waiting for 1 instance(s) to be deallocated. some time it come up to 16 instances.
