But, the CNFE is not for *.aop.* classes, but the org.jnp.server.NamingServer class is not found(which definetly exists in woven jar). Hi so fixed the problem, something went wrong with setting the JAVA_HOME to jdk 5.0. It was 1.4.2. Changed it and now it runs. By "remotely", I mean that you're not running in the same JVM. If you run your code from a servlet deployed to JBoss, you'll be in the same JVM and I suspect your code will work properly. If you are getting a NoClassDefFoundError, this means that NamingServer cannot find some of the classes it needs as a result of the weaving, which makes sense now that I think about it. It is the same problem as before. NamingServer has been woven, and now references several of the aop classes (org.jboss.aop.Advised, org.jboss.aop.Advisor etc.), and these classes will not have been loaded yet. So I don't think that what you want to do is easily possible. I think your best option at this stage would be to modify the NamingServer sourcecode directly and compile in your functionality. Hi, I'm also having interoperability problems with JBossWS and WSE 3.0. I call a JBossWS helloWorld service using a .Net WSE 3 client and it simple does not work with ws-encryption. I tried every possible configuration on the .Net client. Signing only the message, however, the server processes the message correctly and returns the SOAP response to the client. The .Net client then throws an exception while processing the response: "An unsupported signature or encryption algorithm was used". Did anyone try using ws-encryption (encrypting and/or signing messages) with .Net WSE 3.0 and JBossWS (jboss-4.0.5.GA)? Thank you! Rafael Mártony.
