[Security & JAAS/JBoss] - Help Regarding JBOSS SSO

Hi Sohil Sorry for writing mail to you directly. I am actually working on SSO project for our company and was waiting eagerly for JBOSS SSO. I was going through the documents and as our User Info is maintained in database currently so I have to write my own class implementing LoginProvider interface But I have few confusions like what exactly is this method public Identity read(String username) throws IdentityException; I mean Identity Object. Would Appreciate if you can please explain me this or point me to some API where I can get reference to such questions. This sounds a lot like the valueChangeListener problem I had the other day. It was trying to call a no-arg method, instead of creating the ValueChangeEvent and then calling the method. I built Seam from CVS at Gavin's suggestion and all better. May or may not work for you. [JBoss Messaging] - JBoss Messaging 1.2.0.Alpha2 released

JBoss Messaging 1.2.0.Alpha2 has been released and it is available for download on jboss.org (http://labs.jboss.com/portal/jbossmessaging/downloads) and sourceforge (http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=22866&package_id=15...). This release contains a full implementation of distributed queues and topics with full message redistribution. It does not currently support failover. The final 1.2.GA release, due in February 2007, will provide a highly sophisticated clustering implementation, which will allow smooth distribution of the application load across the cluster, intelligent balancing with no single point of failure, high availability and transparent fail-over. The current alpha release offers support for distributed destinations. For an overview of this release's features, consult the new ClusteringGuide included with the release bundle. You will also find a distributed topic example that runs out of the box, which will help you getting started with the new clustering features. Please be aware that the current release is a preview alpha release. We strongly advise against using it in a production environment. What I mean, is I have something similar and I get a 'no method found' error because it's looking for find(ActionEvent) instead of find(). Which, given what you mentioned earlier, sounds like there's something wrong on my end. Just not sure what that is... Hi, I?m running NetBeans IDE 5.5 with the JBoss 4 bundle. I?m developing a Web application. When I run the project for the first time, every thing works perfectly. But when I want to start it again, I get the following error message: | JBoss Application Server 4 Start Failed. HTTP Connector port 8080 is already in use. | C:\Documents and Settings\Stephan\My Documents\_Studium\7 Sem - WS_07\Informationsmanagement\Java\Test\BeanTest01\nbproject\build-impl.xml:440: Deployment error: | JBoss Application Server 4 Start Failed. I should also say, that the rooms and organization lookups work fine using the EntityManager from inside RoomServiceBean. But it appears that the the jsf is trying to access the EntityManager from somewhere other than than RoomServiceBean, because I get no System.out messages once I click on the roomService.addNewPerson button.
