[EJB 3.0] - The EJB3 embeddable release contains errors

Hello, I was trying to use the jboss embeddable alpha server in my unit tests. I downloaded the latest release and tried the tutorials and they ran fine. When trying to use the server with my tests i first got an java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/persistence/NoResultException Ok, so when looking in the ejb3-persistence.jar the class wasn't there and that must be a mistake. I added the ejb3-persistence.jar file from the jboss app server and then I got another of those NoClassDefFoundErrors: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/persistence/spi/PersistenceInfo >From what I can see this an old interface that shouldn't be used. Couple of options can cause this 1) If your application have long running SQL's that is making the connections to be held for more time , while the SQL's are running for long time there are clients asking for more connections which are not available. 2) You application is causing the connection leak. Close the connection in the finally block rather than in the try , that is correct usage . [Clustering/JBoss] - HA-JNDI Lookup doesn?t work from other (not the binder)Servi

Hi All, If I create the HA-JNDI Context Set and then rebind the object to HA-JDNI the lookup within the same service works, but from other service if I create the same context Set the lookup doesn?t work(NameNotFoundException). So what I make wrong, I don?t understand? Here is my code Properties p=new Properties(); p.put("java.naming.factory.initial", "org.jnp.interfaces.NamingContextFactory"); p.put("java.naming.factory.url.pkgs", "jboss.naming:org.jnp.interfaces"); p.put("jnp.partitionName", Partition); InitialContext ictx= new InitialContext(p); ictx.rebind(?myService?, serverObject); ictx.lookup(?myService?); // this works But from other service the lookup to this bounded object doesn?t work.
