Sounds to me like you didn't start your server properly. You need to specify the -c option, like this: run.bat -c jbpm. If you are using the starter's kit, I'm under the impression that it comes with a start script (for Windows at least) that will do that for you. I have never used the embedded server so please ignore my ignorance, and feel free to ignore my post if it makes no sense. Is the server embedded within a Java application? If so, change the heap size for the Java application. Since it is all in one JVM... Is the server embedded within a C/C++/??? application? What API call is used to load the server? I know that the standard API function used to load the JVM has a parameter that takes JVM options, and you can add the heap sizes to that parameter. Hello, I have been searching information about the possibility to use the information about the authentication method a client has used to authenticate against the server... to use this information for a decision about the redirect to e.g. a Portlet Page. Example: There is a Portlet instance within a Portal Page that is accessed by the user that requires at least a client-certificate. But when the user has been challenged for authentication before, he was logged in using form-based authentication. Now the user should be challenged again, due to the fact of his low authentication strength. === Is there any possibility to set (and read at runtime) a required auth-strength for Portal resources? I could not find such a thing in the documentation but I know that it exists e.g. in the Apache WebServer. Furthermore, is there maybe an extension to handle the described scenario? Couldn't you better use a @Factory method? The method initializes your user list on Component creation. If you use it together with the @DataModel annotation then the list will be automaticly filt. In the @Factory method you could also implement the pagination. looks like no one in core team is encouring this problem. It may be related to browser version or javascript settings I think. It looks like tomahawk tree2 component problem. You can try upgrading myfaces jars to newer versions - I know that lot of bugs in tomahawk was corrected.
