Hello, ejbjar: | [copy] Copying 1 file to /Applications/jboss/server/default/deploy | | BUILD FAILED | /Users/rodrigomartinezheredia/Desktop/workbook/ex04_1/build.xml:69: Failed to copy /Users/rodrigomartinezheredia/Desktop/workbook/ex04_1/build/titan.jar to /Applications/jboss/server/default/deploy/titan.jar due to /Applications/jboss/server/default/deploy/titan.jar (Permission denied) The error shows that, the user don't have the proper permission to copy the file into deploy directory. Login as root or privileged user and then run the ant script. Hey, Take a careful look at you ejb jar file,u'l notice that your bean and its interfaces are sitting under the META-INF directory, and in your ejb-jar.xml file u told jboss that your bean interface is in the following package "tutorial.ejb", when Jboss goes in that package the interface is not there.Make sure that you move those classes into the root of the ejb**.jar file under the directory structure "tutorial.ejb" not under META-INF. I think the problem is that JACC is not being used by Jboss by default. When I try to debug and see the code flow it goes to RoleBasedAuthorizationInterceptor and not JaccAuthorizationInterceptor. The Insufficient permission exception is thrown by the RoleBasedAuthorizationInterceptor. How do I register the JaccAuthorizationInterceptor to handle my authorization needs? -P. It looks like the missing src directory is supposed to be empty, so I just created it. Also, I had troubles when I was not running seam-gen in the seam-gen subdirectory of the unpacked seam distribution (I had another copy I was messing with that wasn't under a seam distribution). [JBoss Seam] - Use of TaskInstanceList

Hello all, I am trying out Jboss Seam to use in an enterprose scale application. I am able to use conversations and jbpm based page flows. While using TaskInstanceList i faced the following problem. I have a requirement that starttask and endtask has to be invoked on two different event handers (methods of session bean). So, i created a concersational session bean and started the conversation with a xhtml page that uses TaskInstanceList to get all the tasks for the user. This page is the first page for the conversation. When i created command links to another page to propogate the taskinstance to another page (as used in ToDO list example), it is raising an error that "There is no TaskInstance associated with current context". As there is no such as example in the jboss-seam distribution, i request the community to shed some light on this issue(may be usage). [EJB 3.0] - Re: My collection is not initializing; due to inheritance?

I don't get it. What is the point of having collection support in EJB if it can only save collections, but cannot make them available when the object is fetched from an EntityManager? This makes no sense. I looked back through the Seam examples, and they are good examples of esoteric things, like having conversations within conversations, but none of them deal with simple collections, leading me to wonder how I should handle entities that need to have multiple other objects "within" them? Any ideas?
