[JNDI/Naming/Network] - Re: java.naming.provider.url parsing problem?

How did you install JBoss? I am asking because the HiLoKeyGeneratorFactory class, while it is part of the source and gets compiled, it never gets placed into any of the jar files (it would be in jboss.jar since that contains the regular key generators). [JBossWS] - WS Security with JSR181

I am trying to implement WS Security with JSR 181 endpoint. This is my endpoint: @WebService(name ="InfoService", targetNamespace="http://com.tan.app/prov/ws/tan/car", serviceName="CarInfo") @SOAPBinding(style = SOAPBinding.Style.RPC) @Stateless @PortComponent(authMethod="BASIC", transportGuarantee="CONFIDENTIAL") @SecurityDomain("JBossWS") @HandlerChain(file = "resource://config/ServerHandlers.xml", name = "SecureHandlerChain") public class CarInfoImpl implements CarInfoService{ code } Everything deploys and I see the service but when my client (which is unsecure) trys to access it, I get the following message: [WARN, org.jboss.ws.wsse.WSSecurityHandler, http-0.0.0.0-8080-2] --> Cannot obtain security configuration I would expect an error message saying that the service couldn't be accessed because it requires WS Security or something of that nature. Can someone please explain to me what I am doing wrong? I would also expect JBoss to publish the WSDL with a SOAP address location starting with https but mine is http, how do I change this? Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am facing a really close deadline for this. Thanks. When using that provder url i get: anonymous wrote : javax.naming.CommunicationException [Root exception is java.rmi.ServerException: RemoteException occurred in server thread; nested exception is: | java.rmi.UnmarshalException: error unmarshalling arguments; nested exception is: | java.net.MalformedURLException: no protocol: and] Also, I added the code you linked that prints out all the bindings for "java:". However, I am getting a NoClassDefFound for the class: org.jboss.ejb.plugins.keygenerator.hilo.HiLoKeyGeneratorFactory I have yet to find the jar containing that class. I can't share the code because it is part of a proprietary product marketed by my company. I can tell you that it looked for key jar files, such as jboss.jar, and that the code was written in C#. You could turn off the arrow, and then put in two image elements, and have a rendered="#{..}" attribute on them, which is set by reading values out of the session bean. EJB3 Entities in JBoss use Hibernate under the hood. So in persistence.xml, I pass in the property: <property name="hibernate.show_sql" value="true" /> I'm pretty sure this instructs Hibernate to write to System.out. If anyone knows how to get this sent to Commong Logging or Log4J appenders, I'd love to know.
