thank you all. Here is preparation. check this jpg. This is all of my trouble. Console window is as same as vmnokso1. http://sue.nae.to/screenshot/20060913.jpg vmnokso1, did you check the log file "{jbosshome}\server\default\log\server.log" ? can you find following message after "Started in XXm XXms"? > Loaded properties, users=[admin] > Loaded properties, users=[admin] > Bad password for username=null I wonder this problem is about timeout setting or not. Should I set jmx password somewhere in preference? I don't think possword information is necessaly to just start the server. I want your voice. thanks. [JBossWS] - WSTools Nullpointer exception

Hi, I'using JBoss 4.0.4GA and JBossWS1.0.3GA. In my project i need to talk to Cognos application using Cognos Webservices SDK. I have the cognos webservices WSDL and when i try to run 'WSTools' to convert a Cognos webservice WSDL to java. I get the following error: Any help would be much appreciated. [EJB 3.0] - Disable auto creating for views

I'm using the property hibernate.hbm2ddl.auto with a value of 'update' to auto create schemas on deployment. However, I have created a number of views and mapped the views to entity beans. What I find is that (obviously) if these views don't exist then jboss creates them as tables instead. Is there a way to specify an entity to not be created? [Beginners Corner] - Logging in a servlet

What's the best way to get access to the log4j Logger from the LoggingService. I would think that I could use a JNDI lookup but I don't know what context to get or what the name is. I've seen sample from googling this topic that look like this... Logger.getInstance("category"); But I'm not sure that will do what I want. I want the Logger that knows about my appender that I defined in the log4j.xml file. Thanks. There is no way to do this that is ejb3-spec compliant, however, you can use some hibernate extensions to accomplish this. 1. You need create an id genretor class that implements org.hibernate.id.IdentifierGenerator implementing the generate method to return your custom generated pk. 2.
