Could you post your standardjbosscmp-jdbc.xml excerpt for the SQLSERVER 2005 type mappings? Or where can I get it? I keep on getting The Incoming Tabular Data Stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC). What version of the driver are you using? On the connection setting I had SelectMethod=Cursor . When I put SelectMethod=Direct it removes the The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) error but After a while it complains about not being able to obtain a cloned connection. Is there any way out of this? The HTTP example that ships with the release is not more than a placeholder, waiting for HTTP support implementation to be completed. I do apologize for not making this very clear. http://jira.jboss.com/jira/browse/JBMESSAGING-207 has a high priority, and all its dependencies on the Remoting side have been completed, so it's just a matter of testing things and making sure that everything works. Ron owns the JIRA issues and as far as I know, he's working on this. He'll probably want to post on this thread too. [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - JBoss 3.2.5 and SQLServer 2005

Hi all, we're migrating from SQLServer 2000 to SQLServer 2005. Downloaded sqljdbc_1.1.1501.101_enu.exe from Microsoft and installed the driver sqljdbc.jar in jboss-3.2.5\all\lib and removed the SQLServer2000 driver files. On startup I get no deployment errors. However on trying to retrieve data from the database I get 19:02:19,625 DEBUG [Usuario#findByNombreUsuario] Executing SQL: SELECT DISTINCT t0_o.idUsuario FROM dbo.Usuarios t0_o WHERE (t0_o.nombreUsuario = ?) 19:02:19,656 DEBUG [Usuario#findByNombreUsuario] Find failed java.sql.SQLException: [Microsoft][SQLServer JDBC Driver][SQLServer]The incoming tabular data stream (TDS) remote procedure call (RPC) protocol stream is incorr ect. Parameter 1 (""): Data type 0x38 is unknown. Please help. JMX Web-Console missing, Can't run jconsole? (4.0.4-GA)

Hi folks, first time posting to the list. Sorry for the newbie-esque questions. This actually is 2 questions. One - I can't find the web-console applet in Jboss 4.0.4-GA. Various bits of documentation say to go to "http://localhost:8080/web-console/", but that 404's. There's no deployed app in the JMX console for the web-console either. Where is it? I'm trying to get a handle on JMX - my goal is to come up with a simple way to review my deployed EJBs, see how they're running, what their memory footprint is, thread activity, etc. jconsole seems like a great tool for doing this, but I don't know the magic URI to connect to Jboss-4.0.4. When jconsole starts, it's supposed to look for running jvm's under the same UID, which my jboss is (I'm running via jboss-ide inside Eclipse). Can I use jconsole to monitor / review MBeans in Jboss, and if so, how? Thanks! -dbs -- Dave Belfer-Shevett dbs(a)stonekeep.com
