[JBoss Portal] - jboss-portal-2.6-ALPHA1-bundled with Oracle

Hello, jboss-portal-2.6-ALPHA1-bundled seems not to work with Oracle (9.2.0.5 Windows). you understood well :-) So the problem is not the home itself. I have implemented one in a portlet and it works fine. But I want to have a home Button in my Layout JSP (for example the generic index.jsp). Does this work? If yes how? Is it possible to check authorization before RESTORE_VIEW? I had some problems, since without an authenticated user the @In attribute threw an exception. And I don't want to have 404s for unauthorized users, when there isn't an existing file for the requested view. It depends on which JSF view handler you use. what you want to do is, if I understand well, : after login, all portlet have a state (stateA) then the user do things : some portlets goes into stateB, stateC etc... you want, by clicking a button, that all the portlets go back to stateA. => find a way to store or have each portlet to go to the stateA and use the IPC (inter portlet communication) to tell all the portlet to reset to stateA. but a portal is not supposed to work like that... so why not, but it may be a lot of work and trouble to reach this... hope this helps,... [JNDI/Naming/Network] - IIOP-invoker vs JRMP

Hi, If I understand this scheme correctly, I will have to change the invoker-strategy if I later have to create a cluster. I couldn't find a HA or clustered version for the IIOP-invoker though. Is there support for clustered/HA environment using the IIOP-binding invoker, or will that require a CORBA Naming Service hack using JacORB?
