[JBoss Seam] - Re: Logging using java.util.logging.*?

Anyone have any ideas on this? This is 100% trivially reproducible: when an app is used with a virtual host parameter, not a single log message relating to that app appears anywhere, and nothing you can change in log4j.xml changes that. This is fragile, broken junk. Logging systems exist for the purpose of logging. Surely there is some way to have both virtual hosts AND logging at the same time? I know that in Apache httpd this is easy to do. Debugging a complicated app without any log output at all is like back to the old days of guessing where the problem is, change something, try it again. [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - Can't access JBoss via Internet

We have everything configured correctly as far as we can tell. Followed all the installation docs we could find, but we still can't get to the server via the internet. If we try from http://localhost:8080 everything works great, but not from http://myIP:8080. During startup JBoss is listening to 0.0.0.0:8080, and we have the port forwarding setup on the router. Also, this maybe a very trivial question to some but I am kinda lost Is there a place in an ejb jar or ear to store the WSDL file so that the annotation @Webservice(wsdlLocation="") such that I can place it so that it doesn't need an absolute URL. For example, if I could make a folder called wsdl in the ear or jar file so that the ejb with @WebService(wsdlLocation="myWsdl.wsdl"). wsdLocation="http://myurl../myApp/" works but I want to make it so that the ejb finds the wsdl without knowing the full url. If you want to use the . syntax in the properties file you'll need to reference it as #{messages['foo.bar']} - #{messages.foo.bar} won't work afaik. [JBossCache] - Cache v2.0 Alpha2: Optimistic Locking + Explicit Versioning

Hi, I've been trying to use explicit versioning and experiencing some problems . On certain cases, the OptimisticValidatorInterceptor is throwing exceptions at commit: When calling wrappedNode.isVersioningImplicit(), 'true' is returned even though I can see that my specialized version object has been assigned to the node. That causes an attempt to cast my specialized version to a DefaultDataVersion, failing the transaction... Do you have any idea what could cause this? My initial suspicions cause me to raise the following two questions... 1) Does explicit locking apply correctly to node operations such as addChild() ? 2) Does it apply correctly to single Cache.put() calls creating more than one level in the tree? I know that this is not exactly a detailed report; if needed I can try to narrow the case down and give some more details...
