I've reproduced this as well with synchronousUpdate "true" (it just reduces the occurrence). I can assure you that it's not yet fixed in ICEfaces 1.5.2 as I'm working on the bug at this very moment ... (Note that ICEfaces 1.5.2 will ship once the outstanding bugs of current support customers are resolved, so a fix for this bug may or may not make the cut depending on timing.) The bug appears to be due to a race condition involving org.jboss.seam.core.Manager caused by potential concurrent handling of ICEfaces partialSubmit requests (ordering is not guaranteed, but concurrent handling would be unintended) . [EJB 3.0] - Simple remove wont work. Detached instance

Hi, Im uable to remove an object/post from database by using EntityManager.remove(). The console says Removing a detached instance. But post remainsin db. Is it even possible to remove a detached object? Im not getting why its detached, my code is simple. | User user = (User) service.getUserById(34); | service.deleteUser(user); | where would my session/EntityManager be lost? Thanks for your time. Johan, This client method is part of another loop, I presume? Are you creating more than one JbpmConfiguration outside this loop? The only thing that you should change is to create the context within the try-finally block instead of before it. But the rest of your process/code combo looks pretty normal to me. Maybe somebody else has more insight. In any case, if the problem persists, it would be good to exactly provide us the testbed because it could indicate a bug. Btw. What version of jBPM are you using? And on what platform? The EJB3s have to be in a separate jar files. According to other forums, these jars may be placed within the same ear. Cheers. seems like you managed it :-) I did not manage to get it to buiild via ant from eclipse.
