hmm ... i installed my eclipse SDK now 3 or 4 times and it was always the same like topic says now i take jbpm-jpdl-designer-3.0.13 and it looks fine (in the suite 3.2.2 there is the jbpm-jpdl-designer-3.1.0.sp1 or ?) i can open the gpd.xml file without problems i cant say if this was the real problem ... or if i do something else that it works now ? @DataModel & @DataModelSelection aren't restful as they rely on the viewstate being restored. This is why we have page parameters. Thanks Raffaele! I will make change you suggested. But just curious, why would this wipe out your quartz tables? I thought that your app would not have worked with the oracle db if the seam.quartz.properties is not found ... Or was the tables never generated to begin with and you have been using in-memory job store all along? What version of jbossws are you trying to use? AS 5.0 beta2 already comes with an early version of jbossws 2.0. You should stick with what comes with beta2, no-one will be interested 'fixing' beta2. Seam has @DataModel and supporting classes (like org.jboss.seam.jsf.ListDataModel and org.jboss.seam.faces.DataModels) which ease the use of dataGrid. The problem is that scrollableDataGrid requires some additional methods on the data model (added by classes I mentioned in a previous reply), and so Seam's @DataModel annotation can't be used with scrollableDataGrid. Does that make sense? Deeper, deeper, deeper... Found and solved. the problem: from the QuartzDispatcher.java: | InputStream is = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("/seam.quartz.properties"); | Seam does not recognize my seam.quartz.properties. I've changed it in: | InputStream is = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader().getResourceAsStream("seam.quartz.properties"); | and everything works great (if you use a Oracle DB remember to download the latest Quartz distribution and include the quartz-oracle.jar in your app).
