[JBoss jBPM] - timeout probleam plz help me

i am newbi at jbpm and try to develop a workflow (using timeout)
i am using ;
JBPM 3.2.2
JSF 1.1

and when i run test-timer action didnt call but MailActionHandler called
i found a solution at 3.1 there i can use
| SchedulerThread th = new SchedulerThread();
| th.start();
|
but i cant use SchedulerThread at 3.2.2
how can i use timeout in my workflow , can you advice to me
