Of course, I see no reason why that won't work (we have had to move to newer versions of some hibernate stuff like annotations and entitymanager to get compatibility with hibernate search, so its not a solid rule). But, really, it matters what version of hibernate you *deploy* not compile against as the hibernate api is pretty stable. I think you want something like @In User webUser; | | ... | | facesMessages.addFromResourceBundle("registration.success", webUser.getName()); i.e. you can't add from a resource bundle with interpolation quite like you try. The first validation to be run is for required="true" for which you haven't (that I can see from your code snippets) specified an override. You can override the required message using JSF 1.2: <h:inputText id="firstName" value="#{checkoutCart.bean.firstName}" required="true" requiredMessage="#{message['foo.required']}" /> Maybe icefaces has something similar. Hi How to start and stop the Jboss web service programatically? I would like to get ' Server Not found ' page after stopping the jboss Web Service but jboss should remain running. On a particular event I would like to restart the web service. Is it possible to achieve this, How?
