[JBoss Messaging] - JBM 1.4.0.GA and JBoss AS 4.0.5.GA

Is there any inherent reason for JBM 1.4.0.GA *not* to work with JBAS 4.0.5.GA, or it will, if I craft a scoped deployment by hand? I've solved problem when I updated my app on SEAM 2.0.0 and AS 4.2.1. Look in template for email too,maybe you have some value which is not in event scope(e.g. subject ,address...) The only think I can think of is that there is another JSF jar file on you RedHat server that is being used inadvertently. To track this down, add the "-verbose:class" to the JAVA_OPTS in the run script and then examine the locations of the jar files for the classes loaded. You might have to also do this on Windows to have a control group to compare to. Off the top of my head, two steps: 1) Edit jboss-portal.sar/conf/data/default-object.xml. That files defines most of the default portal. (A search for other *-object.xml files will turn up the other ones). 2) Then you can remove the jboss-portal/sar/[*.war|*.sar] files you no longer need (e.g., portal-cms.sar). (The themes are at jboss-portal.sar/portal-core.war/themes.) Preference I guess. My thinking is that since each module may have a life of its own, it would be easier to develop and maintain the modules separately. I am not ruling out the option of one big project. The wsconsume script does not include the ejb api jar file. Modify the script, adding this line to the set of lines that create the classpath: set WSCONSUME_CLASSPATH=%WSCONSUME_CLASSPATH%;%JBOSS_HOME%/client/jboss-ejb3x.jar You could instead set WSCONSUME_CLASSPATH manually before running wsconsume, but usually editing the script is easier, especially if you will be running it often. secure deployment related Q

I have some files that are dynamically generated on the JBoss server end. How do I prevent these files from being accessed from a client browser URL. i.e. client is able to access these server side files as https://server/path/file from a browser right now. Obviously, I want to prevent it. These dynamically generated server side files are used by browser plugin on the client side. Not sure if it creates any issues for the plugin while securing the access to these dynamically generated files. FYI I have configured blocking for static files in web.xml. Not sure, if I can do the same for dynamically generated files as well.
