[JBoss Tools (users)] - Installing RHDS under Vista

If you install RHDS Beta2 under Vista to a path anywhere on your C:\ drive, it will immediately fail when it tries to copy the first file with a long error ending in "Access is Denied". The solution, as with many Vista install problems, is to run the installer as Adminstrator. Unfortunately, you can't just right-click and 'Run As Administrator' for a .jar file though. I ended up launching a 'cmd' prompt as administrator, and then running the .jar installer from inside that console, which causes the installer to run as administrator. I'm open to hearing a more elegant solution though... No, it does not suck. Well at least not if you know where to change it. ;) For those, who want to play around with it: I just changed the path under \workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings\D:\workspace\.metadata\.plugins\org.eclipse.core.runtime\.settings and now it continues to work (somehow) with CR2. Of course that does not make the Tools Seam 2.0 compatible. Anyway, thanks for your work to Max and the whole team. [JBoss Tools (users)] - Imported Eclipse projects won't build

I had been running JBoss IDE for Eclipse 2.0.0.Beta2 with 3 JBossAS projects which compiled and worked fine. When I imported these projects into RHDS Beta2, the projects seem to import fine and I can't find any missing/broken links. However, I can't build any of the projects anymore - nothing fails, the options are simply grayed out. I have no idea what to do now - there's no errors, and nothing appears to fail - the option to build the project is simply disabled. Can anyone help? [Installation, Configuration & DEPLOYMENT] - Configure JBoss and IIS

Hi All, I would like to know how to configure JBoss and IIS on a server. Right now it is configured on Port 80. And I tried to change it to 8080 in this file <JBoss Home>\server\default\deploy\jbossweb-tomcat55.sar\service.xml but unfortunately unable to access the website outside. Now I want to use IIS as well in the same server. Please help me in resolving this issue. Thank you. runtimes are currently only used by the wizards and the wizards will fail against a 2.0 dir layout since its different thatn 1.2 (plus the test/embeddedejb setup is different) Thus we added a strict check for this release.
