dimiter_a: I'm also facing the same problem you had previous in this thread, with the exception viewing the portlet. You fixed it by adding a factory to your faces-config.xml. [JBoss Seam] - Seam 2.0 and MyFaces

Hi I need to use MyFaces with Seam 2.0 on JBoss 4.2.2 (one of third party jsf libraries needs it). Following the article http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JBoss5AndMyFaces I have added a context parameter to web.xml. Which version of MyFaces should I use? Neither of you have jboss embeddded in your test classpath. These libraries need to be at the top of your classpath and are located in lib/test. seam-gen should generate the correct classpath for you. Ok, I fixed (1) in CVS. (2) This is by design as commented on the JIRA issue. If you want help out, take a look at the open jira issues (especially those with lots of votes) and put a comment saying you are working on it, and work on a patch :) If you want to discuss design of the patch, do it on the jira issue. [JNDI/Naming/Network] - Help with simple sample setup.

I'm running the example from http://wiki.jboss.org/wiki/Wiki.jsp?page=JMXMBeanRemoteProxy but whenever my clients try to connect they cannot find the object in the JNDI registry. When I do a "/usr/local/jboss/bin/twiddle.sh --server=10.140.0.190:1099 serverinfo --list" I see the new InvokeTarget listed: jboss.management.local:ServiceModule=foo.sar,name=jboss.jmx%3atype%3dadaptor%2cname%3dMyServiceInvokeTarget%2cprotocol%3djrmp%2cservice%3dproxyFactory,J2EEServer=Local,J2EEApplication=null,j2eeType=MBean jboss.jmx:type=adaptor,name=MyServiceInvokeTarget,protocol=jrmp,service=proxyFactory but when my client code tries to connect to it, it always fails to look it up. No, the factory is for lazy initialisation of variables - the variable already exists in the conversation scope when you rerender.
