i put the soap handler configuration under the META-INF directory (standard-javaxws-endpoint-config.xml) with the following content as mentioned in the seam reference <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> | <endpoints xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/jax-ws/ri/runtime" version="2.0"> | <endpoint name="Hello" implementation="hello.Hello" url-pattern="/ws/hello"> | <handler-chains xmlns="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/javaee"> | <handler-chain> | <protocol-bindings>##SOAP11_HTTP</protocol-bindings> | <handler> | <handler-name>SOAP Request Handler</handler-name> | <handler-class>org.jboss.seam.webservice.SOAPRequestHandler</handler-class> | </handler> | </handler-chain> | </handler-chains> | </endpoint> | </endpoints> when i run with mvn jetty:run soap requests aren't handled and i can't see wsdl file from browser.... does seam soap handler works with tomcat/jetty? or should i make additional configuration for these containers... regards... [JBoss Seam] - Custom EntityHome message

Hi, I work with Seam EntityHome component. If I update, create or delete an entity there is a FacesMessage with english content. I need to customize this message for the german language. In the Home class I can see that message fields are private. Should it be not protected to customize messages in derived classes. On the other hand I work with local-configuration in faces-config.xml and messages_de.properties. It would be nice if I can put there the correspondending messages! Ok, I explain clearly apain. If I am invoking URL with ports 8080 "www.ponte-net.de:8080", it works fine. The ports 8080 is behind firewall and should be forwarded using mod_proxy.
