I'm struggling with the same problem. <param-value>/tmp/</param-value> seemed to work. I thought that this was <JBOSS_HOME>/server/<instance>/tmp/, but nothing was written there. I saw later that UploadedFileDefaultMemoryImpl is used. Anyway, it doesn't work on all systems... Did you find a good configuration? What do you mean by "Embedded Tomcat"? To mean that means the Tomcat that's running inside the JBoss AS, in which case TA == JA and TB == JB. [Beginners Corner] - jboss4.2.1

Hi, Recently i downloaded jboss4.2.1 to run my struts application which uses struts1.3.8. Application compiled successfully and deployed to jboss. No, this is not possible (though there are probably exceptions). The MBeans would have to be written in such a way that system properties could be used to overwrite the values provided in the descriptors. [Clustering/JBoss] - Deploying the application in selected nodes in a cluster

Hi all, I have 3 nodes in my JBoss 4.2.1 server, and I would like to deploy my application in selected nodes only. Let us say Node1, Node2 Node3 are there, and I would like to deploy the application in Node1, Node3 only and not in Node2. If I go with "farm" deployment, I am able to deploy in all the nodes and if I UN-deploy, it is un-deployed from all the nodes. Can any body suggest how to deploy the application in selected nodes? Is there way through form deployment? Thanks!
