[EJB 3.0] - java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ${main/class} when running E

Hi, I've been using NetBeans 5.5.1 with SJSAS9.1 to write and test Enterprise apps with EJBs, web EJB clients and non-web EJB clients. Now, I need to work with the same IDE and JBoss 4.2.2. Do you still want to use JSF? You must use either Facelets or JSP with JSF. Otherwise, you can use Seam Remoting from ExtJS to access the Seam contexts. The internationalization issues with Facelets are resolvable AFAIK. Apparently rf 3.1.3 moved from tables to css for the simpleTogglePanel layout and now the seam-gen generated display forms have some float clearing issue. I see that you have specified < use-java-context> as false in your datasource xml file and you also have specified the < jndi-name> value as "jndi-name". So your datasource is now available in the global JNDI namespace with the jndiname "jndi-name". So the persistence.xml should contain: <jta-data-source>jndi-name</jta-data-source> Your stacktrace also points out to one other exception: anonymous wrote : javax.naming.NoInitialContextException: Need to specify class name in environment or system property | , or as an applet parameter, or in an application resource file: java.naming.factory.initial You will have to place a jndi.properties file in the client's (TestClient.java) classpath to get rid of this exception.
