Gavin, After I spent a lot of time trying to make this works (changing examples, from 1.1.6, CVS, debugging Seam code and so on), I found the reason: The problem was that I was using the el-ri.jar which comes with ICEFaces 1.5.3 distribution. I change back to el-ri.jar from Seam distribution and all works fine. I don't know why this happen, it seems they are different implementations, even the size is different (IceFaces 97Kb, Seam 95Kb form el-ri.jar). Do you know something related this? Well, since you need to keep conversational state somewhere, that would only be possible with a SFSB. I don't see how SLSBs can do the same? Sure, you can hold your conversation state in some other components and inject/outject them on your SLSB on every method call, but why would you when there are SFSBs? The EntityHome etc. components that come bundled with Seam are equivalent to conversational SFSBs, they are implemented as conversational Seam-managed JavaBeans because not everybody who wants to use them has an EJB 3.0 container. [JBoss Seam] - Can the Google Map Viewer Component from Sun Blueprints be u

I have started using Seam for my latest project and love it. For this project I have a requirement to add a mapping component, so far I have found the Sun Google Map Viewer Component, and g4jsf component. In another post I saw the g4jsf component is not compatible with Seam. Does anyone have experience with the Sun Google Map Viewer Component? Can it be used with Seam? you should use the jbpm graphical process designer plug-in for eclipse. it's very powerful and i doubt, that processes designed with runa will run on jbpm. When you created your server, you created a "JBoss" server rather than one under the "JBoss Inc" folder. The JBoss one is provided by webtools and is not supported. My project does start with in debug using eclipse, but it seems to time out. It will just die with no error after a minute or so. Has anyone else seen this? Thanks for your reply Pete. Could I ask why you prefer this strategy over using SFSB or SLSBs? I can't seem to find anything in the docs or by searching the forums that gives an idea as to how to choose the most appropriate strategy for a particular app, so I'd be really grateful for any advice you can offer me as I'm feeling a bit lost... Or perhaps there is some helpful documentation / forum posts that I've missed to which you could point me?
