Is anyone using HotSwap at the moment? I'm using the default Ant build for Eclipse 3.2 (Ant 1.6.x I believe) but can't seem to get it to work. The reason I ask here is that I thought I saw some limitation that said you couldn't build with Ant 1.7. [JBoss Seam] - Protected methods on Seam components

Hi all, If I have a protected method in some circumstances on a Seam component I get an error when the method is called via a cglib proxy. Thanks for the reply. I did change auto-commit to autoCommit, it gives the same exception. I will try some alternatives listed. It seems there is no easy workaround on this problem. The reason is that a lot of webapplication code is generated by Sun Creator (for example, all those cachedrowset stuff). It works fine in Sun Application Server. So if there is some kind of one or a few lines change in configuration to make it compatiable with JBoss, that would be perfect. Thanks. I find that my users want to frequently change messages and text throughout my applications. I would prefer to use an entity to store and update messages and text. I believe that I would only need 3 fields: key, text, locale or possibly key, text, en, fr (an extra column of each locale) My application is only in English so I am not that concerned about locale. Instead of getting the text or message from a file in the application I would like them to be loaded from this table on startup. If I get this working will I be able to reload this in a running seam application of one of the properties is modified? Does someone else already have a example of this type of thing? [JBoss Portal] - i18n support for page-name

Hi, is there i18n/l10n support for the page name? As the page-name is displayed in the tabs, it would be nice if it would adapt to the chosen language. However, i cannot find any hint how to do this. [Tomcat, HTTPD, Servlets & JSP] - JSF 2.1 and Tomcat 6

JSF 1.2 requires a servlet container that can support the Servlet 2.5 and JSP 2.1 specifications, correct? And I believe Tomcat 6 is the first version of Tomcat to implement these new specifications. Will JBoss 5.0 use Tomcat 6.0, and thus be able to support JSF 1.2 out of the box? Thank you.
