What is the reason that you can't use compile-time weaving inside JBoss AS? Load-time weaving is disabled by default in JBoss AS because Javassist will have a tough time to inspect all the classes during startup. As a result, we don't recommend to use load-time option while running inside JBoss AS. Placing the interfaces into the sar file was impossible, because it was used by both (jar in ear and the sar). But i have found another solution. I put the sar into the ear. This worked for me. Julien, Great work. I also downloaded the src for Alpha2. It needs to be tidied up. It's full of old java files that have been renamed. I couldn't do a full compilation from source. I didn't have to do any patching to use Oracle 9i with CMs, so many thanks for that. Also thanks to R.K. for fixing up JBoss Forums to work with the new portal code. At last we have a configuration that include facelets in a portlet. Lastly, will a later release of Portal be implemented using Seam ? 3.x ? Hello, I need some customer references to show to my managers. I'm evaluating some frameworks in order to suggest an evolution of our JEE and JSE programming model (we're currently using a Struts based framework). I'm evaluating the Seam framework, and it seems very promising. Could you communicate me some customer references using Seam (if public) ? Are there some Seam apps running live, and for how much users/day ? Are there banking companies using Seam or likewise some other big companies ? Thank you very much for your help. The stack trace from your local JBoss Portal install would be more useful for us. I don't have easy access to a Windows system so I cannot test the MSDN client right now, however, if you receive an OperationFailedFault, it means that something went wrong on the Producer and the relevant stack trace on the server would cast some light as to what is happening.
