I have been waiting for SelectItems to finally be included in the main distribution of Seam. Thank you Peter for all you hard work. I read you comment about "converters aren't there (or automatically added)" and si:convertEntity for entities. I use the org.jboss.seam.EntityConverter a great deal and was wondering why this was not included. I also noted that you were going to post a separately packaged version, but could not locate this on the Wiki. Are there any directions or examples for using the new 1.1.5 included version vs to external version especially in regards to org.jboss.seam.EntityConverter ? What files are in directory /webapps/ccr? Are you JSPs there? If so, that will not work. What you need is something like /webapps/ccr/ccr.war, and place your JSPs and WEB-INF in there. Getting the start-up order to work correctly may be a little tricky, it might be possible if your MBean on the MDB MBean that is created. It's preferable to set the attributes through your MDB's jboss.xml . There are two ways to deploy your ClassA, you can have the scheduler create and call an instance of it, or deploy ClassA as an MBean. If you do the latter, you can activate your class on demand through JMX. I have an expanded web app directory, a root directory that contains jsp file and a WEB-INF directory containing a web.xml. I tried to point to this directoryby adding it to the deploy list in jboss-service.xml like this: deploy/,file:/webapps/ccr After starting jboss, the app does not deploy, is not available.
