Trying to understand my car's engine. What was the reason for null: A) Because it wasn't a Seam component (lacking @Name) the @In annotation didn't even get intercepted. B) Because it wasn't a Seam component (lacking @Name) there wasn't a context to look up anything (even though an interceptor for tried to honor the @In)? There should be nothing preventing the connection from being returned to the pool. A simple | connection.close() | should do it. However, if you are not firing a connection close event to your associated ConnectionListener(s) then this wouldn't occur, so it sounds like this is not being done. Check your ManagedConnection and verify that 1)You are firing a connection close event to the listener(s) and supplying the ManagedConnection instance in the constructor of the ConnectionEvent. 2) You are setting the handle on in the ConnectionEvent so it can be released. An example of how to do this can be found in | org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.BaseWrapperManagedConnection | Since you are non transaction you don't need to worry about Tx interleaving holding the connection open for the lifetime of the transaction. Even tough JBossWS 1.0.4 is compatible with both AS branches (4.0.x and 5.0.x), please stick to AS 4.0.5.GA for now. BPEL was not tested with AS 5.0.0.x. 1. You should be exposing start/stop/destroy etc. methods from ServiceMBean. If your XMBean .xml file does not have them, JBoss cannot call them. 2. I'm not an XDoclet expert, but I do know that merging files is an annoyance. 3. The point of persistence is when you change the attributes of an MBean, they are saved. The policies are: OnUpdate (save when changed), NoMoreOftenThan (save when changed, but only every so often), Never (no), OnTimer (save peridocially.) I'm not sure on JBoss treats these. Hi weston, Thanks for your reply.Now I am able to configure the pool as per the desired prameters.The problem that I am facing is my connection is not returned backto the pool. Can you tell me what I need to do ? I am using a NoTxConnectionFactory.I read in many of the forum answers that JBoss closes the connection(puts the connection backto the pool) only when the transaction is either commited or rolled back. Can you guide me how the things will happen when transaction is not supported by the Resource Adapter? hi thanks for the reply... m using jboss-4.0.4 on windows xp. bt there is no folder as <JBOSS_HOME>/server/default/location from where i can delete tmp ,log and work.....i hv these folder in <JBOSS_HOME>/server/default bt if i delete log folder fm here where ll i check my log file den?? [JBoss jBPM] - How to do Custom Fork and Custom Join.

Hi, We are using jbpm-3.1.2 in development phase, i wanted to get custom fork/join nodes to achieve couple of our functionality. although i could find few references about ForkHandler/JoinHandler, i dont know how to acheive them in jbpm-3.1.2. Please someone advice me? Am i using wrong version?
