Thanks and will do! The problem occurs -ONLY- when I deploy the my war file inside the SAR file and only with spring tag lib. If you deploy just the war file, it works fine! I donot think my problem belongs to Tomcat forum. May be you can suggest some other Jboss forum Please? Like I said it is specific only to SAR/Jboss. Any help will be appreciated. After getting more and more insane trying to figure out the Jboss CVS (it is hell in there) to get the ejb3 project and all it dependencies, I discovered that CVS isn't used anymore and that the project is moved to SVN. I here by want to thank those people that keep the jboss.org site up to date ;). Now that I checked out the SVN project I feel that things are becoming much easier. I am not there yet but very soon I will have my own compiled embeddable ejb3 lib. [Security & JAAS/JBoss] - JBOSS SSO on JBOSS4.0.5 and Vista

Hi I have a strange issue, I have 4 applications Application 1, Running on Vista and JBOSS 4.0.5 Applocation 2,3,4 Running on Win XP and JBOSS 4.0.3 Note: I have updated tomcat patch on JBOSS 4.0.5 The issue whcih I am facing is like following A) If I login into Application 1 and from there I go to partner applications (2,3,4) SSO does not work. On Further investigation I found that, when I login to Application 1 I do get SSO Token however the mement I go to partner sites I get Logout token. Dont know why. Another strange thing is ..... if I login first into Application 2,3,4 (any) and then go to application 1 or any other partner website, SSO works fine The second strange thing I noticed If I start my jboss fresh(4.0.5 where Apllication 1 is running) and login into Application 1 and then go to partner applications (2,3,4) SSO works fine only for the first time. After this if I open another browser and do the same steps SSO does not work. Hi, Thanks for the quick answers. I've a good memory profiler where I could make a diff between 2 snapshots. I'm trying to make available my files that included the diff file. I've made it available in http://www.filesend.net/download.php?f=1a21223c2157ad669a243214afbb7390. Check windows_jboss405_diff1000.html file with difference between a clean JBoss and after 1000 deployments and undeployments, Regarding the JIRA issue, this issue is related to a bug in Apache commons-beanutils but my application is a very simple hello world with no link to commons-beanutils. I'll appreciate if you have any more ideas... OK, I did a little debugging inside JBoss and confirmed that the HQL statement causing the exception was this one: | from EscalationGroup as escGrp where escGrp.class = com.cpicorp.roster.objects.EscalationGroup order by escGrp.description | It looks like the error is being thrown when it's resolving the fully qualified classname (com.cpicorp.roster.objects.EscalationGroup) in | where escGrp.class = com.cpicorp.roster.objects.EscalationGroup | I removed the package name to make the HQL read | from EscalationGroup as escGrp where escGrp.class = EscalationGroup order by escGrp.description | And this works fine now. Is this a bug? It seems that a fully qualified classname should be accepted. The fully qualified name worked under whatever version comes with JBoss 4.0.4GA. It's nothing to worry about. ICEfaces is simply checking for portlet classes and not finding them, so it will treat your app as a non-portlet-based app. I'll log a bug at ICEfaces to generate a less unsettling debug message.
