[JBoss Seam] - Exception message not displayed in error.xhtml

Hi, I am developing a seam application . To handle the exceptions I have added the following code in pages.xml. | <exception class="javax.persistence.OptimisticLockException"> | <end-conversation/> | <redirect view-id="/common/error.xhtml"> | <message>Another user changed the same data, please try again</message> | </redirect> | </exception> | | It is redirecting to the error.xhtml , but not showing the given message . I am using <h:messages globalOnly="true" /> in error.xhtml to show the message. Is it a known issue ? It is happening for all type of exceptions that are thrown at flush time. Thanks, Nathan. Looks like a port conflict - you are probably running another server on the same port. Try stopping any other servers that run on your machine, or change port numbers in JBoss configuration files. Hey guys! Seam 1.2 works perfectly here with JSF-RI 1.2, Facelets, Ajax4JSF 1.0.7, and JBoss AS 4.0.5. My only problem currently is the MissingResourceException and ExceptionInInitializerError I'm getting. My form has only one input field, which is an s:fileUpload <h:form id="register_form" enctype="multipart/form-data"> | <s:fileUpload id="photo" data="#{photo.data}" fileName="#{photo.name}" accept="image/gif,image/jpeg,image/png"/> | <h:commandButton value="save" action="#{photoManager.save}" /> | </h:form> The faces-config.xml has this <application> | <message-bundle>messages</message-bundle> | <el-resolver>org.jboss.seam.jsf.SeamELResolver</el-resolver> | | <locale-config> | <default-locale>en</default-locale> | <supported-locale>en</supported-locale> | <supported-locale>en_US</supported-locale> | </locale-config> | </application> My messages.properties file works for all other cases in my application. Analysis: Seems that ObjectInputStream takes the classloader of the calling method. This is the scoped classloader used in JBoss Messaging. Perhaps something like this would be in order.
