[Management, JMX/JBoss] - RuntimeMBeanException caused while trying to do getAttribute

Hello, I am getting RuntimeMBeanException when i do getAttribute from ManagementBean(MEJB). Also i think this RuntimeMBeanException has occurred due to NullpointerExeception. I was using getattribute to get the Number of messages in the Queue or Topic. We send, receive the messages in the whole night and this Exception has occurred only once. Anybody knows what could be the problem? [JBoss Seam] - Scheduler Support

Dear all, Does anybody knows how to implement scheduler (such as Quartz) with Seam without EJB3.0 timer? Does this component available directly from Seam or do we have to use Quartz directly? [Persistence, JBoss/CMP, Hibernate, Database] - can not save persistent object into database, pls help

hi, I am new to hibernate. I am trying to save a data object into oracle database but it is silent after executing. No record inserted into database. I catched the error but no error message thrown also. Retrieve data from database is ok. Below is my code for inserting: Session session = factory.openSession(); Transaction tx=null; try{ tx = session.beginTransaction(); Player p = new Player(); p.setPlayerid(3); p.setPosition("defender"); p.setName("Mark"); p.setSalary(600); session.saveOrUpdate(p); tx.commit(); }catch(HibernateException e){ System.out.println("insert error:"+e.getMessage()); tx.rollback(); } session.close(); Any help will be appreciated. For starting JBoss automatically on system reboot, which user is used? If user "root" is used, there should not be any difference, right? Hi Peter, I did not create user "jboss". root is used to start Jboss because only root can use port 80. what is the difference between starting Jboss on reboot and starting Jboss manually using root?
