[JBoss Portal] - How to remove Unauthorized portlets from showing up as unaut

Hi, Can anybody please let me know how to disable the unauthorized portlets from getting vissible to an unauthorized user. i have assigned security permission on a portlet and when unauthorized user enter the page, it is showing up as Access Denied. I want to disable this and i want nothing to be shown for unauthorized users. Can anybody please help me in getting this done? Thanks in advance. Thats correct, we have a service installer that takes 3 parameters (StartCmd, StopCmd, WorkingDir). You can provide any thing as start/stop command which in our case is an exe for a StartCmd and a batch file for a StopCmd. In our exe, we have a console handler and realized by turning "Allow service to interact with Desktop" option. You can quit this exe by hitting CTRL-C in the console. Don't you love it when writing out your entire problem in a forum leads you to think of the answer before anyone posts? My problem was that we never had a maximized layout. Did you create a user account named "jboss"? The script attempts to run the app server as the user "jboss". You will also have to change the permissions on the jboss files to give the "jboss" user access. [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - JBoss did not start automatically on Linux(FC 6)

Hello, I installed JBoss 4.0.5GA on Linux FC6. I copied the start up script to /etc/init.d/jboss and made some changes, and then use chkconfig to config it. # chkconfig --list mysqld mysqld 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:off 5:off 6:off # chkconfig --list jboss jboss 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:on 4:off 5:off 6:off mysqld can start automatically on system reboot, but jboss can not. But I (root) can start jboss manually without problems. # /etc/init.d/jboss start what could be the issue? any log messages? Thanks for help! I have some more information about this problem. The problem only occurs when an xa-datasource backs an entity bean the classes of which are deployed in a .jar but the deployment descriptor of which is deployed in an .ear. Note: the reason for this strange situation is that we are using JBoss Messaging with JBoss 4.x and in order to be able to send or receive messages we have to specify the class loader, and the only way to do that is via a jboss-app.xml in an application (.ear) bundle. However (some of) the supporting classes must be available to other applications/jars so we package them separately.
