[JBoss Eclipse IDE (users)] - JBossIDE - Studio Pro Integration

Presently, I'm using JDeveloper to code against the JBoss EJB3 implementation, using MyFaces. I am very interested in learning Seam, and taking advantage of using RichFaces/Ajax4JSF capabilities. It would be great if I could "dive in" to some kind of mix of JBossIDE and (Exadel) Studio Pro ahead of their integration in the anticipated Red Had Developer Studio. So... Can anyone please describe, or point me toward the steps needed to (if possible) get a mix of JBossIDE and Studio Pro running under one copy of Eclipse (using any available version, including nightly builds). Hibernate makes legitimate calls into the cache during afterCompletion(). There's this bit in TxInterceptor.setTransactionInContext() that may be relevant: | ctx.setTransaction( tx );//tx == null || !isValid(tx) ? null : tx); // make sure the tx is valid, otherwise set as null - see JBCACHE-785 | if (ctx.getTransaction() == null) ctx.setGlobalTransaction(null); // nullify gtx as well Not sure how the commented out bit was meant to work or why it's commented, but if it were executed before the ctx.setTransaction( tx ); call, it would have the effect of treating Hibernate's afterCompletion() call as occuring outside the tx scope, which AFAICT is Hibernate's intent. Hmm... that might screw up the if test in invoke() that immediately follows this call. There are no files stored anywhere to define the portal you created using the Management Portlet. All such information is stored in the database. Also, the files *-object.xml and portlet-instances.xml are only used to input data into the database, after which the data is read from the database (hence the appearance of the < if-exists > tag in those files to indicate on a restart of the portal whether the data in the files is to overwrite what is in the database, or the data in the database is to be kept as is). we have our own Service installer which install couple more services and we specifically ignore this event for all these services: CTRL_LOGOFF_EVENT from Windows Service Manager. I can turn on the JVM option -Xrs to reduce the signals but within the JBoss console if I hit CTRL-C, it exits abruptly. We have a shutdown handler that does a graceful shutdown and is being ignored due to -Xrs option to jvm.
