Thanks a lot Peter J, thanks a lot for pointing out the exact error which was causing it to fail. i have fixed the problem,it is working pretty much fine now :) . The main problem was with the creation of threads it self, the HPUX machine has kernal tunable parameter "max_thread_proc" set with value 64 which is a static kernal tunable parameter. i have changed it to 512 and rebuild the kernal and rebooted the machine. [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - How to don't redeploy ear after restart JBoss server

Hello, can you help me? I deploy the ear to JBoss server and it is running. Then restart JBoss server and this application is deployed again. So I can not see e.g. log files of my application, because it was deleted. Is possible to say JBoss "don't redeploy this application, if it is deployed, when JBoss is restarted". Thanks for help. actually, using mod_rewrite I've been able to almost achieve what I'm trying to do : | RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !^/application2 [NC] | RewriteRule ^/(.*) /application1/$1 [L,P] | | JkMount /* ajp13 | The only problem is that all the links in application1 point to /application1/mypage.jsp ... so after only one navigation my url becomes : http://mysite.com/application1/mypage.jsp Any hints ? hi forget my last reply, i've got these multicast test working and i'm seeing all kind of action. Also i've added the attribute bind_addr in cluster-view.xml and added the ip of the local machine. when i start jboss it says that it is finding two members, but unfortunately it's two times the local machine. What do I have to do to let it find the other machine? [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - using apache as jboss frontend and fine tuning url contexts

Hi, I'm using apache as a frontend for JBoss and I use mod_jk as the connector. However, I'm not really happy with having my two applications accessed by : http://mysite.com/application1 and http://mysite.com/application2 What I want (and have been unable to setup properly so far) is to access my first application with http://mysite.com/ and my second application with http://mysite.com/application2 I've tried with mod_rewrite but failed ... has anyone some ideas/pointers ? A couple of us have just run into the same issue when trying to integrate g4jsf (which has its own phase listener, the GwtPhaseListener) and Seam. See here for more details: http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=103603 It seems that the ajax4jsf guys consider this a bug: http://jira.jboss.org/jira/browse/AJSF-6 I am not clueful enough to know where the problem (if any) lies, or why the booking example doesn't have any issues out of the box. [EJB 3.0] - Changed behaviour of getSingleResult?

Hi, i have a question concerning the method "getSingleResult()". The intended behaviour of the method was up to today, that if the underlying query returns more than one result, the mthod returns the first of them. Only in case of no results, a NoResultFound Exception is thrown. But, as we found out today, when there are at least two results we get a NonUniqueResultException. Is this new? Our JBoss is 4.0.5-GA.
