[JBoss Seam] - Configuring non-ssl connection to smtp server

Hi,
I've just tried testing sending an email in my seam app (based on the mail example... in release 1.2.0-P1). It appears to be finding the smtp server, but then fails the SSL handshake (see error below). The server is within our internal network and shouldn't require SSL, so I was wondering how I would configure it to not use SSL. Any ideas?

[JBoss Seam] - Re: Req: I18N mail function

I'll write the requirements of the mail format in Japan again.
- Message body must be ISO-2022-JP.
- Subject, from, to (etc.) headers in Japanese must be ISO-2022-JP and be encoded by base64.
- Content-Type and Content-Transfer-Encoding must be set to charset=ISO-2022-JP and 7bit.
So, I made the following message. Content-Type: and Content-Transfer-Encoding: were set by <m:header/>.

I have some questions and requests.
1. Why does the result become a multi-part although <m:body type="plain"/> is specified ?
2. <m:header/> isn't given in the 2nd part though it was in the 1st part.
3. From: and To: header is encoded by base64 but the character encoding is Shift_JIS (maybe default encoding). These are expected in ISO-2022-JP.
4. Subject: isn't encoded.

[JBoss Seam] - page specific login-required=

Have a wildcard login-required="true".
Have a page specific login-required="false".
It appears not to be effective.
Why do I need it? Because I want different login depending on which part of the site. One part is for mobile devices. Very different. So in the login-view-id I point to where in a .page.xml it calls an action that based upon redirect.getViewId() decides where to go for actual login page. That actual login page then triggers the login-required, and isn't "exempt" because it doesn't match the login-view-id. It worked when I used <render... to get to the actual page, but then I needed on the actual page another action executed, and <render... doesn't go there, so I have to use <redirect... and that triggers the login-required.
I guess even if I'd dig for the code that makes login-required="false" not override there might be objection to making it override, is there?
Alternate solutions?
