If you are using the query with max-results defined, then you must to extend the EntityQuery class and override the following methods as follows: | @Override | @Transactional | public long getLastFirstResult() { | | long page = (getResultCount() / getMaxResults()) * getMaxResults(); | if (page >= getResultCount()) | return page - getMaxResults(); | else | return page; | } | | @Override | public boolean isNextExists() { | return getResultList() != null && | getResultCount() > (getFirstResult() != null ? getFirstResult() : 0) + getMaxResults(); | } | | Looks like the above methods in the Query class does not take care about a paged result (or whatever I can't see). [Installation, Configuration & Deployment] - jboss-4.0.5.GA+Windows Vista Home Premium+C:\Java\jdk1.5.0_1

I am trying to install JBoss application server on my laptop which has Windows Vista Home Premium. I downloaded the jboss-4.0.5.GA.zip from the jboss website and extracted on my C drive at C:\jboss-4.0.5.GA and jdk1.5.0_11 installed at C:\Java\jdk1.5.0_11. JBOSS_HOME & JAVA_HOME have been set to the afore mentioned locations respectively. Now I tried running the server ( using the run.bat file under the bin directory)and it booted up successfully. I followed the same steps on my PC which has Windows XP Home + jdk1.5.0_11 and it works perfectly fine. Someone suggested that this issue can be resolved by uninstalling IPv6. I did that too for both LAN and wireless Network. I also verified tht port 8080 was not in use before I start JBoss. I also tried using jboss-3.2.4 and jboss-3.2.8 but same results. Typicall you don't have to do this. WARS use an isolated classloader by default which should allow you to simply wrap things up in your WEB-INF/lib directory and you should be all set. But I think the struts.jar has some weirdness associated with the deployment. Again, the Web forum is probably a better place to get better coverage simply because users in the forum have probably gone through this a few times. I went trrough this before but I still have a question that I can't answer. If I only put libraries into .../server/default/lib shouldn't an application always be able to see it. Somehow I have to put struts.jar into both .../server/default/lib and WEB-INF/lib (part of war archive) otherwise I am getting different exceptions... (tld or classes not found...) I will really appreciate a fe tips. Thanks! I believe The struts.jar has some issues inherent in the way it is deployed. Posting to the JBossWeb forum might be a good idea as well. Thanks for the links, Weston. I went throug these before, but I still can't understand why I have to put struts.jar lib into both .../server/default/lib and WEB-INF/lib (part of war archive) directories. Somehow some struts .tld cannot be found if I put it only in .../server/default/lib and some other strut classes cannot be found if I only put it in WEB-INF/lib. So, I just have a simple question. Shouldn't any library be normally visible if I put it into .../server/default/lib? What's the best way to trace where the classes are actually loaded from. I would really appreciate a few tips. [Microcontainer] - MC Pojo - Equivalent for MBeanRegistration ?
