Tim, I appreciate your efforts and I apologize for the way my post sounded. Part of my frustration is I had a configuration working and cannot seem to get back to it. I can't remember what I did to get it going in the first place (4.0.5.GA, JBM 1.0.1.GA). I am just moving ahead with 4.2.0CR2 and JBM1.2SP1 configuration. Much of my chagrin is I am new to aop and when I see exceptions in aspectized classes my eyeballs glaze over trying to figure it out. Again, sorry if I sounded unappreciative. The reason I put jboss-messaging.jar and jboss-remoting.jar in my ear is that when I put jboss-messaging-client.jar in it I got other exceptions. I am still searching for that elusive combination. Thanks Pete. I had my findings posted a while ago in this forum (http://www.jboss.com/index.html?module=bb&op=viewtopic&t=104525), and now waiting for JIRA admins to resolve my inability to post new issues there. My integration covers JOTM, Atomikos and JBoss Transactions (Arjuna JTA) - frankly, I hoped that the integration with the latter one would generate some more attention from JBoss crowd, that being a JBoss product and such. I also tried to explore integration with the JTA/JCA taken from the JBoss AS, but couldn't find any documentation on these modules (heck, even Javadoc is a pain to find!) A good starting point is to write up your findings on the wiki, for others to view. Then, create a JIRA request asking to have them included in the docs. If you've already done that, then I guess it's just taking time for them to be pulled in! [EJB 3.0] - Re: recurring timer and app re-start issue

Nobody else is experiencing this?? This is a major problem. I have a bunch of tasks scheduled to do nightly maintenance on my devices at 1pm every night. So I am using a recurring timer to schedule these. Everything works as expected if I keep my application running. But if have to re-start my application for any reason, all those timers get fired right away.. [JBoss Seam] - Can i use another kind of architeture for a SEAM application

Hy, i´m new here... I am studying SEAM and i am liking very much.... However , i wanna apply another kind of architeture in my application. I would like to pass forward the objects injected by SEAM to other layer of my application. I want to do this because i want to padronize the calls to update database registers, using for example a BaseDAO. Can i do this ?
