[JBoss Seam] - Re: SQL script execution on deployment?

I don't see anyway to do something similiar with TopLink. I've always used TopLink since it is the default provider with GlassFish. Is it trivial to use Hibernate in place of TopLink in GlassFish? [Clustering/JBoss] - Maximum number of nodes supported?

Hi, We are planning on a J2EE application with fair amount of web flow and also expected even more flow in the future. We want to achieve the best performance/price ratio, so what we planned is to use commodity quality desktop PCs to construct a server grid. JBoss AS as a leading open source J2EE server definitely caught our eyes. I've been reading the wiki and this forum and didn't find any specification on the maximum nodes supported in load balancing mode. We are thinking to put a few hundreds servers initially and later may increase to thousands. Can someone please enlighten me on this? Thanks Gary.. Hmm.. That is really weird.. Which version of JBoss are you using? I am using 2.6.1 (the latest version) and have created a custom login module that extends DBIdentityLoginModule. I verified this with a standalone test case - used the OOTB login module and tried to sign in as a user with the full username, and it rendered the edit mode but when I went to the "dashboard" to view the portlets, I see a WSOD (white screen of death).. I use the entire email address as the username in the portal application that I am developing. I don't use LDAP (yet), but am using the DB login module. It works fine. I would do a bit more research into the problem. Sorry I can't give you any ideas of specifically what may be wrong, but I can offer a data point that email addresses can be used as usernames. Gary.
